This week we give a big shout of appreciation to Karen Reddick. As our Social Media manager, Karen works tirelessly to create and maintain our database management systems, our website and Facebook page, our weekly e-blasts and most of the paper media for our ministry.
As a mom and member of our community, Karen volunteers with the youth as a teacher once a month and facilitates the Green Bag food drives for our local food bank. She and her children take part in other events like the Winter Solstice Spiral Walk as both participants and sacred service volunteers.
Last Sunday Karen shared how Unity's teachings of metaphysical Bible interpretation brought her to a place of peace with the religious trauma she experienced growing up. Karen is a bright light - funny and authentic, an enthusiastic visionary, and a wonderful co-worker in ministry. We're deeply grateful for the Christ presence showing up as Karen!
