The not-really-the-Minister’s report
It’s October! Sometimes I still have a hard time believing that it’s 2024, much less October. But it does feel like October now— that crisp, fresh air, those blue skies, the football games and the reality that we are watching summer disappear in the rear-view mirror. Part of living in Washington is that we get to enjoy the four seasons, though, and a part of me embraces the transition to the colored leaves falling, the anticipation of holidays approaching and, of course, expecting more Hallmark movies that always seem to turn out right.
As with every month this year, we will be studying and appreciating the power of the month, which for October is zeal. At first, zeal and October seem a strange match, . . .
