About Kyle
Hi fellow Unitics et al, my name is Kyle Leapline and I am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was introduced to the Unity movement in Wichita, KS by way of my then boyfriend, now husband, Geoffrey LaForce (Unity of Olympia Prayer Team Member and Platform Assistant) in 2016 at Unity of Wichita. His job then moved us to Olympia, WA in 2020 and we became members at Unity of Olympia( U of O) in 2022. And, fun fact, I believe we were the last couple to be married at the old U of O on Fern Street.
After a career of working professionally in the performing arts, I now teach the next generation at 4 different dance studios around the greater Puget Sound Area. Rev. Terry asked if I would be interested in being a Minister’s Assistant and Teen Program Lead at Unity of Olympia in August of 2023, and now in 2024, I was asked to add office administration duties to my job description. Merging all my titles into a new all encompassing position, Community Coordinator.
As Teen Program lead, I work with the Director of Youth Family Ministries to educate pre-teens (Uni-teens) and teens (YOUers) in Unity spiritual principles and how to apply them to their lives, as well as coordinate youth fundraising, community service, and celebration. I also play a role in communicating with the Unity Northwest Region about teen camps. As Community coordinator I am responsible for a broad variety of functions for the smooth operation of the church, including, but not limited to office management, enquiries service, community engagement, and sacred service facilitation. When I am not at Church I am traveling this beautiful region with my amazing Husband and our medium sized dog, Pepe. I am here for you!
