Unity's 5th principle states that it is not enough to understand the truth of who we are. To make a positive difference in the world we much put them into practice. We must take action. Our spiritual path is not meant to remain only within the sanctuary. What we practice in prayer, meditation, and sacred gathering is meant to walk out the door with us — becoming food for the hungry, shelter for the unhoused, welcome for the stranger, and hope for the weary.
Listed here are some of the ways in which Unity of Olympia is furthering its mission and applying this principle through what we call Spiritual Social Action.
There are many ways you can support our spiritual community and help make it possible for us to support these and other charities. Donations of time, talents and treasure are all needed to help our community thrive. Contact our Unity Services Coordinator to learn more.

Why This Matters...
When we volunteer, we do more than “help.” We affirm sacred worth. We practice Unity in motion. We move from belief into embodiment. Each hour given, each dollar offered, each presence shared becomes a seed planted in the soil of collective healing.
If you have ever felt the quiet nudge to serve, this is your invitation. If you have ever wondered how to live your spiritual values more fully, this is one clear path forward.
Together, we can be the hands of compassion, the voices of encouragement, and the steady light our community needs.
